STUDENT OF THE MONTH - MARCH 2011

Congratulations to the following students!  They have been selected and are being honored by the Instructors and Master Kang as the most outstanding students for March 2011.  Keep up your grades in school, great attitudes, respect and chores at home, manners, attendance, spirit and perseverance and you may be selected as a Future Student of the Month...

ASHLEE MACOMBER - ANTIOCH

Hello everyone, my name is Ashlee Dale Macomber. My favorite color is indigo. I am seven years old and in second grade. My favorite food is McDonalds chicken nuggets.  I go to a day care center after school each day. My two best friends are there: Jasmine and Alexia. I have one brother. His name is Nicolas and he is 4 years old. My favorite place to go is Tae Kwon Do. My favorite thing to do is practice everything I learn. I like to camp and go swimming. I also love arts and crafts!

BENJAMIN LEE - BRENTWOOD

My name is Benjamin Lee and I’m 18 years old. As for siblings, I have an older half brother. I was born in San Jose on November 4th, 1992 and lived in Fremont until I finished 6th grade. During that summer my family decided to move to Discovery Bay, and it’s where we live to until this day. I attended Excelsior Middle School, and graduated from Liberty High School in June of 2010. I currently attend LMC, and the thing that interests me the most is science. As a career I’d like to become a pharmacist; if I decide that it’s not the thing for me, then I still plan on doing something in the medical field. Not only do I get to do something science related, but I can help people in the process (the money is nice too). I joined Kang’s TKD in July of 2010. There’s never been a day where I didn’t enjoy coming to class. TKD has not only made me healthier, it helped me develop a strong mind and taught me how to appreciate things more. Without it, I wouldn’t be who I am today. TKD will always be a part of my life. Besides TKD, I like to be with my family and friends, go fishing, listen to music, and much more. I don’t really have a favorite food because there’s just so much out there. If I had to categorize it, then it would be Asian food. I am happy to be student of the month, and I know that others can be one too! So I strongly encourage every student to do their best! If it wasn’t for the guidance of Master Kang and all the instructors, as well as the KTA family, I wouldn’t be who I am right now. Thank you so much for your guidance.
